Okanagan Golf Club Instructors

PGA of BC Top 100Clay Stothers, CPGA

Director of Instruction
PGA of BC Teacher of the Year, 2014

Clay has a deep passion for the game of golf, from the history to the beauty, and this passion is evident when teaching his students. The development of the students is extremely important to Clay, whether it’s a number they are trying to shoot or their overall experience playing the game. With over a decade of teaching experience, Clay has learned that in order to keep improving,  you must have a clear understanding of your golf swing and the effect it has on the golf ball. Understanding your golf swing, allows for an increase in confidence and a lifetime of enjoyment.

Rick Crowson, CPGA

Director of Golf

Rick’s career in the golf industry began as an apprentice at The Summerland Golf Club, working his way up to Head Professional positions at Golden Golf Club and 36 hole facility Copper Point Golf Club. Most recently he was the Head Professional/Director of Golf at Nk’Mip Canyon in Oliver. “Being involved with a World Class Facility is a goal of every Golf Professional, and The Okanagan Golf Club has evolved to become just that.”

Neil Green, CPGA
Teaching Professional

I have been a member of the Canadian PGA since 1962 beginning as a club Head Professional, and finishing up as a Director of Golf. The last 8 years I have been a Teaching Professional at the Okanagan Golf Club. I am not a believer in rebuilding golf swings, but prefer to work with what talent people have and improve that talent, along with spending serious time on the short game of 100 yards and in to lower scores and handicaps, and make the game and practice fun and enjoyable. Lower scores guaranteed!!
